When customers face an issue with your product/service, they begin to get frustrated. This often leads to them repeatedly clicking on certain elements of your website/app in anticipation of a fix. Such clicks are known as rage clicks, and indicates that your customers aren’t getting the optimal experience they deserve. They also provide an opportunity for you to proactively offer help. For example, if you notice rage clicks on the “Checkout” button of your online store, you’ll know that your customer is finding it hard to complete the payment process. You can thus reach out to them beforehand, and suggest an easier way to successfully make the payment.
